Today we started our day with breakfast with the entire family. Independent Math binders in the school room. Engineering art with building blocks. Pumpkins with smiling faces, candy canes, and forest of mini trees made of blocks. 

DinoGal read to ArtyScout while he colored a math art puzzle.

Exercises and running laps to level up our Wokamon App at a fire house with a pet Alligator named Charlie! I highly recommend this app to motivate your children to run.


Afterwards we placed our old school metal based - wood top desk outside in the backyard. We set up the fire-pit near by. Yesterday we cleaned up the yard and had a pile of sticks to burn today.



Identification of a yellow flower prompted today's lesson! A mini Dandelion! 


Leaf hunting. Leaf Rubs. Leaf Sorting.



Swung in the tire swing and giggled in the trees.

The children were blessed with hammocks for Christmas. DinoGal read a science lesson from Seton 5th Grade Science Textbook. 
DinoGal read to us from her hammock today. 

Ran more laps around the yard with the four dogs today. We are puppy sitting this week.

We didn't read our Bible today yet read as a family yesterday and will again tomorrow. We have been reading the book of Genesis. Taking turns reading a few chapters a day.
