  1. Art/Science: Draw or paint: Prairie Chickens, Mocking Birds, Phoebe birds, and gophers. Label the birds then write an interesting captioning.
  2. Math/Geography: Compass assignment: mark a forty-mile radius from Independence, Missouri showing the distance the family must travel to post a letter.
  3. Living: Wash Clothing by hand and hang them out to dry. Time drying process.
  4. Bible Study the Israelites: read Psalms 44:1-9 What was their foreign Policy? Compare this to the American Policy!

Children had to measure out the width and length of a Conestoga Wagon 4x10 then fill there wagon with essentials like pots, pans, blankets, fine china, hope chest, and one toy.
Listened to a video about the Osage Native American Tribe.
Did you know the verb "ford" describes crossing a body of water on foot at a shallow point or driving across it in a vehicle? The idea is that you're not using a bridge or boat to cross a body of water.
